After an incredible journey releasing music on labels like Get Twisted Records, WyldCard Records, High Definition, and more, I’m excited to announce the launch of my very own record label, Taking A Left Turn (TALT). This marks the beginning of a new chapter for me, and I’m thrilled to share it with all of you!
For those who’ve been following my music journey for over a decade, you might remember my mixtape series Taking A Left Turn, which first dropped in 2008. Back then, I was transitioning from trance into house and techno, and the name symbolized that shift. Now, in 2024, I’ve resurrected the name as my new label, setting the stage for a fresh adventure focused on releasing more of my own music.
I’m kicking things off with my debut release on TALT, a track called Gossip. This one’s a real summer jam, blending catchy vocals with a bouncy beat, while featuring verses of oriental-inspired chants and a flute riff that’s impossible to resist. It’s got the perfect vibe for those sun-drenched afternoons or late-night sets, capturing the energy and spirit I wanted to bring to my first release on the label.
And that’s not all—later on, I’ll be dropping an official remix of Gossip by Dots Per Inch, so make sure to stay tuned!
